Christmas is fast approaching, which
means there is a lot of seasonal and assignment work on the horizon! Here are
3 things to be aware of when creating your Temp Market profile.
Specify your minimum hourly rate
It
is important that when you do create your profile you specify your minimum
hourly rate, otherwise it defaults to $15, and this is what you will be
offered. Remember this rate is before
tax.
If you think you can do better on your skills tests do them again
You
may be new to skills tests or maybe you’re just having a bad day, don’t worry
you have the opportunity to sit them once more.
Make it clear how far you are willing to travel
If
you live in Albany and don’t want to take an assignment outside of the North
Shore, make sure you specify this – don’t let yourself and employers down by
not being able to take an assignment that is outside your ability to get to.
So what are you waiting for, get started and start matching with assignments through your Temp Market profile. |
